Biographical Information[edit]
Shortstop Henry Easterday played in the Union Association in 1884 at age 19, and then came back to play from 1888 to 1890 in the American Association.
He was born in Philadelphia, PA and died in Philadelphia at age 30, and in between he played for (among other teams) the Philadelphia teams in both leagues. His sister Margaret was married to Joseph Wiley, an amateur player who played one game for the Washington Nationals in 1884, facing Henry's Philadelphia Keystones in Philadelphia.
