Biographical Information

Gustavo Lopez pitched in the minors leagues and the CPBL.

Lopez started his professional with the Florida Marlins, and he went 0-3 with a 4.13 ERA for the GCL Marlins in 1997. He was 1-3 with a 3.60 ERA in 1998, then he went 4-2 with a 3.53 ERA for the Utica Blue Sox in 1999. Lopez then had a 5-4 record with a 4.33 ERA for the Kane County Cougars in 2000, and he also pitched 2 games for the Brevard County Manatees. Lopez was 6-4 with a 3.58 ERA for the Cougars in 2001, and he also started 6 games with a 3.21 ERA and a 3-1 record in Brevard County. He was 8-3 with a 2.33 ERA for the Jupiter Hammerheads in 2002, then he left the Marlins system. The Sinon Bulls signed him in 2004, but he allowed 4 runs in 2 2/3 innings, and his professional career ended.
