Gary Coward

Biographical Information[edit]
Gary Coward was on the Australian national team in their first Amateur World Series, in 1978. He was 5 for 11 with two walks, two steals and four runs, a bright spot on a team that hit .225/.291/.296. He fielded .875, splitting left field with Kevin Greatrex and Garry Williams and backing up Geoffrey Hunter in CF and Geoffrey Martin in RF. He was General Manager of the Daikyo Dolphins when the Australian Baseball League formed in 1989-1990 and even got into a game, scoring twice. He was later on the board of the Australian Baseball Federation.
