Biographical Information[edit]
Garry Williams played for the first Australian national team in an Amateur World Series. In the 1978 Amateur World Series, he hit .100/.143/.100. He split time between 2B (fielding .963, splitting the spot with John Hodges and LF (1 PO, backing up Gary Coward and Kevin Greatrex). [1] He could play all nine positions and made the Belmont Baseball Club Hall of Fame; he represented New South Wales in multiple Claxton Shield competitions. [2]
