Biographical Information

Gabriela Sandoval debuted for the Mexican women's national team in the final phase of the 2023-2024 Women's Baseball World Cup. She took over as the starting second baseman for Denise Perez, who moved to DH. In her first game, against host Canada, she faced Alexane Fournier and hit into a run-scoring force, bringing in Diana Ibarra. Her first hit was off Natsuki Kubo of champion Japan. She finished 2-for-11 with two walks, a double, a run and three RBI while handling ten chances error-free.
