Franklin Gonzalez has been a minor league infielder.

Gonzalez debuted in 2003 with Yaritagua, hitting .250. He fell to .196 in 2004 with Venoco 2. In 2005, he hit .208/.293/.264 for the VSL Orioles. He came stateside in 2006 and batted .240/.290/.351 as a utility infielder for the Bluefield Orioles; he fielded .929.

In 2007, Franklin split time between the Aberdeen Ironbirds (.202/.275/.284) and Delmarva Shorebirds (.214/.353/.214). He fielded .892 as a SS-3B. In 2009, he played for the Tucson Toros and hit .196. Gonzalez played for the Venezuelan national team in the 2010 Pan American Games Qualifying Tournament, in which Venezuela tied Team USA for third and won spots in the 2011 Pan American Games and 2011 Baseball World Cup.
