Frank Rickey, brother of Branch Rickey scouted for the St. Louis Cardinals, Brooklyn Dodgers, Pittsburgh Pirates and New York Giants and scouted players such as Art Delaney, Dick Hoover, Clyde King, Dick Lajeskie, Marty Marion, Stu Martin, Don Padgett, Enos Slaughter, Bill Webb, Ernie White, Burgess Whitehead, Johnny Mize, Max Lanier, Walter Alston, Charlie Ripple, Preacher Roe, Sal Maglie, Del Rice, Rocky Nelson, Joe Landrum and Roger Craig.
