Biographical Information[edit]
C/OF/1B Frank Franchi played minor league baseball in the Detroit Tigers (1956-1959) and Washington Senators/Minnesota Twins (1959-1963) chains. He was a scout for the Twins from 1964 to 1971 and the Oakland A's from 1982 to 1983. He signed Steve Ontiveros, Curt Young, Jeff Kaiser, and Greg Cadaret for Oakland. Franchi joined the Tigers in 1984 as minor league field coordinator and stayed through December 1986.
