Biographical Information[edit]
Francisco Gamez pitched in the minor leagues and the CPBL.
Gamez began his professional career with the Milwaukee Brewers, and he was 2-3 with a 2.66 ERA for the AZL Brewers in 1990. He went 9-12 with a 3.63 ERA for the Beloit Brewers in 1991, and he was 9-5 with a 3.63 ERA for the Stockton Ports in 1992. Gamez stayed with the El Paso Diablos in the next two seasons, and he had a 2-8 record with a 5.40 ERA in 1993 while going 10-7 with a 4.81 ERA in 1994. His ERA rose to 5.29 in 27 games in 1995, and he also pitched 4 games for the Ports. He then played for the Sultanes de Monterrey for 4 years, and the Wei Chuan Dragons signed him in 1999. Gamez went 2-4 with a 5.63 ERA for them, then he announced his retirement.
