Biographical Information[edit]
Flores Bolivar played in the US and Venezuela and coached and managed in Venezuela and Spain.
He was 2 for 30 with 3 walks, 3 runs, 3 RBI and 13 whiffs for the 1974 GCL Cardinals, backing up Glenn Brummer at catcher. He was 1 for 1 for the 1976-1977 Leones del Caracas and 0 for 1 for the same club a year later. He was 1 for 4 with two runs and a RBI in 1978-1979. He was 1 for 6 for the 1979 Caracas Metropolitanos in the Inter-American League. Back with the Leones in the Venezuelan League, he was 0 for 2 in 1982-1983 to finish his LVBP career 2-for-8 in six games spread over four seasons.
He later worked for the Tiburones de la Guaria, including a stint as interim manager in 2006-2007. He managed CBS Sant Boi of the Division Honor in 2008 (24-8) and 2009 (23-13-1), finishing in third place each year. He had also scouted for the Los Angeles Dodgers, pushing them to sign Edgardo Alfonzo. He died of a stroke.
