Biographical Information[edit]
Felipe Leal played in Mexico from 1965 to 1979, with brief stays in the United States. He played for the Mexico City Diablos Rojos (1965-1966, 1968-1970), Tabasco Plataneros (1965), FIL Orioles (1966), El Paso Sun Kings (1967), San Jose Bees (1967), Saltillo Saraperos (1969, 1971), Puebla Pericos (1972-1973), Monterrey Sultanes (1973-1974), Chihuahua Dorados (1974-1975), Nuevo Laredo Tecolotes (1976-1978) and Tampico Alijadores (1979). He managed Tampico for part of 1979 and Saltillo for part of 1987. He later coached high school baseball.
