Team Bio[edit]

The Fayetteville Swampdogs joined the Coastal Plain League in 2001 and played their home games in Fayetteville, NC at J.P. Riddle Stadium, also known as "The Swamp".

The team was put on hiatus after the 2019 season. This was probably due to the arrival of the Class A Fayetteville Woodpeckers playing in a new ballpark across town.
