Biographical Information

Ezequiel Astacio was signed by scout Wil Tejada for the Philadelphia Phillies in February 1998. He made his pro debut for the DSL Phillies that summer. He made 28 appearances (14 starts) with the Houston Astros from 2005 to 2006, plus a World Series appearance in the former year, allowing 2 earned runs on 4 hits in 2/3 of an inning in Game 3 of the 2005 World Series against the Chicago White Sox.
