Esteban Maciques

Esteban Maciques debuted for the Cuban national team in the 1935 Central American and Caribbean Games, hitting .316 for the Gold Medal winners. He helped them to another Gold in the 1938 Central American and Caribbean Games, batting .278 that time. In the 1939 Amateur World Series, he hit .250/~.368/.250 but led all players with 7 runs and Cuba again won the title. The outfielder fell to .211 in the 1940 Amateur World Series and Cuba won another championship. He had a very brief pro career with the Alacranes of the 1947-1948 Cuban Players League.
