Biographical Information[edit]
Errol Davis hit .261/.320/.435 as South Africa's starting left fielder in the 1998 Baseball World Cup; he led the team in slugging. He hit .700/?/1.150 with 16 RBI in the 1999 All Africa Games, with 3-run homers off Ceaser Ofoedu and Rockfeller Erima. He was second on the team in RBI, one behind Ian Holness, second in hits (two behind Carl Randall) and 3rd in average (behind Holness and Willem Kemp) on a squad that averaged 31.6 runs per game in obliterating the competition. In the 2000 Olympics, he was 1 for 10 while backing up Clint Alfino in left.
