Biographical Information[edit]
Eric Bunnell played college ball at Mount Union College and graduated in 2003 with a degree in Business and Marketing. He later earned a master's degree in Liberal Studies from North Central College. During his playing career, Bunnell earned All-Ohio Athletic Conference honors in 2003 and was named to the All-Tournament team in 2002 after helping lead the Purple Raiders to the conference championship game.
A year after graduating Bunnell returned to Mount Union to begin his coaching career.

During these years Bunnell also coached in the summer leagues with the Stark County Terriers of the Great Lakes Summer Collegiate League. He was an assistant coach in 2006-2007 and the head coach in 2008-2009.
- 2011-2013 Assistant coach Lake Erie College
- 2014-2017 Assistant coach Saint Joseph's College
Bunnell's tenure at St. Joseph's ended in 2017 when the college closed due to financial problems.
- 2018 Assistant coach University of Chicago
- 2019-2023 Assistant coach Youngstown State University

In 2024 the Milwaukee Brewers hired Bunnell as a development coach with the Wisconsin Timber Rattlers.
