Biographical Information

Emison Soto played in minor leagues and Taiwan.

Soto was signed by the Boston Red Sox in 1990, and he hit .254/.331/.286 for the GCL Red Sox in his first year. His batting line was .225/.300/.338 in 1991 with the Elmira Pioneers, and he hit .242/.296/.424 for the Winter Haven Red Sox in 1992. Soto slumped to .151/.196/.273 with the Fort Lauderdale Red Sox in 1993, and he left the Red sox organization. After playing in Mexico for 3 years, the Mercuries Tigers of the CPBL signed him. He hit .316/.413/.561 with 7 homers in 1997. Soto then signed with the [[]] of the Atlantic City Surf, hitting .321/.409/.622 in 1999, .312/.363/.540 in 2001 and .238/.283/.409 in 2003.
