Biographical Information[edit]
Eduardo Rodriguez, Scott Munninghoff and Eric Cammack are the only players ever to hit triples in their first and only career plate appearance; Chuck Lindstrom had a walk and a triple. Rodriguez is the only player ever to retire with an OPS+ above 1,000.
He played for the Caguas Creoles and the Mayagüez Indians of the Puerto Rican Winter Baseball League.
Ed passed away from a heart attack in his hometown of Barceloneta, Puerto Rico on March 6, 2009, his 57th birthday.
