Biographical Information[edit]

Eduardo Reyes debuted for the Chilean national team in the 2024 South American Championship. The teenager was their starting first baseman, flying out against Ecuador's Keiver Cordero his first time up. He was 1-for-14 for the Bronze Medal winners, his hit coming off Peru's Renzo Meloni. He had a walk, a hit-by-pitch, a run and a RBI and fielded .975. He led the event in putouts (37, 7 ahead of Gabriel do Carmo) and tied Agustín Tissera for 3rd in double plays turned (5). [1]
