Dutchess County, NY

Dutchess County is located in eastern New York, between the Hudson River to the west and Connecticut to the east; the county seat is Poughkeepsie, NY, but three towns at the southwestern tip of the county - Wappingers Falls, NY, Fishkill, NY and Beacon, NY - are spread around Dutchess Stadium, the home of the Hudson Valley Renegades. Bob Murphy was born here and James Earl Jones died here.
