Biographical Information[edit]
Dutch Ussat was an Ohio boy who was born and died in Dayton, OH, and who had a couple cups of coffee with the Cleveland Indians.
In 1925, he played one game at second base, in a year when Chick Fewster was the regular. The backup, Freddy Spurgeon, won the job the following year.
In 1927, Ussat played four games at third base, in a year when Rube Lutzke was the regular. The backup, Johnny Hodapp, won the job the next year.
