Biographical Information[edit]

The grandson of big leaguer Galen Cisco, Drew Cisco pitched several seasons in the minors.

Selected by the Cincinnati Reds in the sixth round of the 2010 amateur draft, Cisco did not make his pro debut until 2012 following Tommy John surgery. In his first pro season, with the Billings Mustangs, he went 4-1 with a 3.39 ERA in 15 starts. With the Dayton Dragons the next year, he posted a 5-7 record and 3.86 ERA in 24 starts. He spent 2014 with the Bakersfield Blaze, going 5-6 with a 6.78 ERA in 27 starts.

Cisco was released by the Reds in early 2015 and signed with the Ottawa Champions of the independent Canadian-American Association. He went 3-4 with a 3.80 ERA in 23 outings for the team.

In addition to his grandfather, Cisco is the brother of minor leaguer Mike Cisco, the son of minor leaguer Jeff Cisco, and the nephew of minor leaguer Galen Cisco Jr.
