Drake Yoshiwo
Drake Yoshiwo played for the Palauan national team several times. In the 2003 South Pacific Games, he had a 1.69 ERA, allowing only 7 hits in 16 innings and fanning 12 (though he did walk nine). He tied Tkoel Iyechad for third in the Games in IP (one behind John Lebeoa and Stanley Scaliem), was not in the top ten in hits allowed despite being third in batters faced, was 4th in K (after Lebeoa, Scaliem and Stanley Filiaga) and tied Renaud Barbier and Stivan Eseli for 2nd in walks (two behind Lebeoa). [1] In the 2005 South Pacific Mini-Games, he won Silver. [2] When Palau won the 2007 South Pacific Games, he homered against both Fiji and Samoa and got the win over American Samoa. [3]
