Stanley Scaliem

From BR Bullpen

Stanley Scaliem pitched for the Federated States of Micronesia national team that won Bronze in the 2003 South Pacific Games. He was their ace hurler, allowing only two runs (one earned) in 17 innings while fanning 20. He gave up eight hits and two walks. He tied John Lebeoa for the tournament lead in innings pitched, but was much more efficient, as he was 7th in batters faced (60, 31 behind Lebeoa), between Renaud Barbier and Stanley Filiaga. He was not in the top 15 in hits allowed or top 20 in runs allowed. He was second in K (7 behind Lebeoa). [1] The team also won Bronze in the 2005 South Pacific Mini-Games but pitching stats are unavailable. [2] A teammate both years was Fermin Scaliem, presumably a relative.
