John Lebeoa

From BR Bullpen

John Lebeoa was the workhorse for the Solomon Islands national team in the 2003 South Pacific Games. He pitched 17 of their 25 innings, striking out 27 and allowing 21 hits, 11 walks and 20 runs (18 earned). Despite his 9.53 ERA, he did not allow the most runs on the team as Hampton Saua gave up 33 in his 5 innings! In fact, he led the team in ERA. For the Games, he tied Stanley Scaliem for the most IP, faced the most batters (91, 22 more than #2 Stivan Eseli), was second in runs allowed (behind Saua), tied Jacques Levy for second in hits allowed (6 behind Saua), led in K (7 ahead of Scaliem), led in walks (two ahead of Drake Yoshiwo, Renaud Barbier and Eseli) and was second in earned runs (9 behind Saua). [1] Pitching stats for the 2005 South Pacific Mini-Games are limited but he did appear well on offense, going 3 for 4. He had most of the hits for the Solomon Islands; Raynald Salvador and Michael Raurau had their only other hits. [2]
