Biographical Information[edit]

After attending Casa Grande High School and the University of Arizona, pitcher Don Cantrell played seven seasons of minor league baseball. He went 20-6 with the Albuquerque Dukes of the West Texas-New Mexico League in 1950 and paced the circuit with a .769 winning percentage. Three years later, he again won 20 games with the Phoenix Senators of the Arizona-Texas League in his final campaign in pro ball.
