Biographical Information[edit]

Domingo Morillo has played in Venezuela, the Dominican Republic, Spain and France.

Morillo hit .305/.383/.368 for the 2006 VSL Twins/Blue Jays; he scored 42 runs in 60 games and stole 14 bases in 22 tries. A versatile player, he played all four infield spots and all three outfield ones. He tied for 10th in the Venezuelan Summer League in runs. Moving up to the DSL Twins in 2007, he hit .237/.356/.318 in 55 games, playing every position except pitcher.

In 2011, he played for the Halcones de Vigo in Spain. He hit .355/.413/.508 with 33 runs in 32 games, but only fielded .890. He tied for 6th in the Division de Honor in runs, was 10th in slugging, ranked 12th in average, was second with 103 assists and tied for the error lead (22). During 2012, he batted .376/.451/.539 for San Inazio Bilbao but was only 9-for-19 in steal attempts. He scored 35 times in 36 contests and fielded .882. He tied José Luis Riera for sixth in runs, tied for third in hits (53), was 10th in RBI (30), tied Oscar Angulo for 9th in doubles (10), was 7th in total bases (76, between Angulo and Marc Carrillo), tied for 5th in errors (14) and was caught stealing the most.

For San Inazio Bilbao in 2013, he hit .373/.436/.493 and improved his fielding to .936. He tied Emmanuel Febles for fourth in average, was 10th in slugging, missed 10th place in OBP by two points, was 7th in runs (30), tied Yancarlo Franco for 7th in total bases (62) and tied Pau Sancho and Febles for second in hits (47, a distant 14 behind Angulo). For 2014, he signed with the Rouen Huskies of France. He debuted on Opening Day, hitting third and playing shortstop.
