Dmyto Terekhin has been on the Ukrainian national team.
He was 0 for 2 in the 2021 U23 European Championship and allowed 5 runs in 2 2/3 IP. [1] Making it to their senior team for the 2023 European Championship, the teenager debuted against defending champion the Netherlands. Relieving Sergii Shtapura with two outs in the 5th, a 6-2 deficit and one aboard, he walked Dashenko Ricardo, and allowed run-scoring singles to Delano Selassa and Roger Bernadina before he got Ray-Patrick Didder on a grounder. He went 3 1/3 IP, with 7 hits, 3 walks and 7 runs (all earned) before Bohdan Lucheiko took over. His next game, he started in left field and struck out against France's Nathan Laot and Robyn Clara before being replaced by Oleksandr Halushka. For the tournament, he had a 22.50 ERA and was 0 for 3. [2]
