Diego Beluzaran debuted for the Chilean national team in the 2024 South American Championship. Listed as a catcher, he was the DH in all six games foe the third-place team. His first plate appearance, he singled off Ecuador's Keiver Cordero, his team's lone hit that day off Cordero. He hit .400/.438/.400 with four runs and two RBI. He was 7th in the event in hits (6), leading the team, one ahead of Manuel Zapata. He tied for third in runs in the tourney, behind Victor Mascai and Sebastián García. [1]
