Derek Tupuola
Biographical Information[edit]
Derek Tupuola was a backup outfielder for American Samoa in the 2011 Pacific Games. He got his only start against the Northern Mariana Islands national team, playing right and hitting 9th. The 15-year-old popped up against Vicente Cepeda Jr. In the 4th, facing Thomas Joab Jr., he hit into an error to score Timoteo Solaita. Christopher Eneli then replaced him. His other game came against Guam, replacing Daniel Va'a in left. He had one at-bat, grounding out against Roke Alcantara Jr.
