Biographical Information

Timoteo Solaita was on the American Samoa national team in the 2011 Pacific Games. In the opener, he started in left field, hitting 7th. He popped up his first at-bat, against Fiji's Emosi Gotegote. Later that day, he walked and singled versus Gotegote. He was 0 for 10 with six whiffs the rest of the tournament and fielded .875 overall (playing RF, LF and 2B). He is presumably related to teammate Louis Solaita.
