Thomas Joab Jr. pitched for the Northern Mariana Islands national team that won Gold in the 2011 Pacific Games. In his lone outing, he relieved Vicente Cepeda Jr. with a 7-0 lead in the 4th. He got off to a rough start as Daniel Va'a and Vili Fa'apouli singled. Timoteo Solaita bunted into a run-scoring error by Joab. Joab walked John Love before fanning Joseph Langkilde III fr the first out. He gave up four runs (two earned) that inning. He then tossed two shutout innings before Josh Jones relieved. In his three innings, he allowed four hits and three walks while fanning three. He got the win over Ikaika Mahuka.
