Biographical Information[edit]
Joseph Langkilde III was born in Hawaii and raised in American Samoa. He was 14 years old when he made the American Samoa national team for the 2011 Pacific Games. He was their youngest player and split first base with John Love. In his debut, he started at first and hit 9th against New Caledonia, going 0 for 2 against Jacques Levy. He finished the event 1-for-5, his hit coming off Thomas Joab Jr. of the champion Northern Mariana Islands.
He played baseball in junior college in the US then worked for the BYU team after transferring there. He then went to Harvard Law.
