Biographical Information

Pitcher Dennis Boatman began his professional career in 2021. He was taken by the Cincinnati Reds in the 17th round of the 2021 amateur draft; his signing bonus was $100,000. He was 1-0 with a 1.42 ERA in 4 games (1 start) for the ACL Reds in 2021. He began 2022 with the Single-A Daytona Tortugas and also spent part of the season with the Dayton Dragons. He went a combined 7-8 with a 3.30 ERA in 29 relief appearances; in 43 2/3 innings, he struck out 60 batters.
