Biographical Information[edit]

Delfino Mejia pitched in the minor leagues and the CPBL.

Mejia was signed by the Oakland Athletics in 1991, and he was 2-2 with a 2.51 ERA for the Modesto A's. He also pitched 4 2/3 shutout innings for the Madison Muskies, and he recorded a 2.45 ERA in 4 games for the AZL Athletics. Mejia then went 6-3 with 7 saves and a 3.70 ERA for the Reno Silver Sox in 1992, and he was 2-1 with a 2.79 ERA for the Muskies in 1993. He also pitched 12 games in Modesto, but his ERA was 6.35.

The China Times Eagles of Taiwan signed him in 1997, and he had a 4.50 ERA in 22 games. He signed with the Chinatrust Whales in 1998, and his ERA was 1.93 in 5 games. Mejia was 4-4 with a 4.02 ERA for the Nashua Pride in 1999, and he had a 4-3 record with a 4.25 ERA in 2000. He also went 5-3 with a 4.50 ERA in 2000 for the Long Island Ducks.
