Deivis Rivadeneira has been a minor league infielder.
Rivadeneira hit .193/.242/.253 with one steal in five tries for the 2005 GCL Braves as a backup infielder. He subbed for Elvis Andrus at shortstop among others. In '06, Deivis batted .277/.370/.319 in 16 games for the GCL Braves but fielded only .915.
Let go by Atlanta, Rivadeneira joined many fellow Colombians with the 2009 Yuma Scorpions. He hit .273 and his 46 runs tied former AAA player Carlos Villalobos for the team lead. Deivis helped Colombia win a Silver Medal at the 2010 South American Games.
