Biographical Information[edit]

Dayson Croes has played in the independent leagues.

He hit .440/.509/.640 in the COVID-19-shortened 2020 season for Quincy University, then hit .436/.490/.715 with 54 RBI in 44 games the next summer. He was named All-Great Lakes Valley Conference as a utility man. [1] He slipped to .343/.415/.540 in 2022 with 62 RBI and 10 dingers in 62 games, only striking out 17 times. Turning pro, he posted a .351/.412/.423 line for the 2023 Winnipeg Goldeyes, fielding .927 at third; he had more walks than strikeouts. He was 4th in the American Association in average (between Chris Herrmann and Dillon Thomas). [2] He was named the All-Star third baseman. [3]

In 2024, he posted a .342/.397/.452 line for Winnipeg, playing 2B and 3B. He was again 4th in the AA in average, this time between Cornelius Randolph and Carter Aldrete. [4] He was named the All-Star utility player. [5] He made the Dutch national team for the 2024 Premier 12. [6] In their opener, he pinch-ran for Sharlon Schoop during the winning rally in the 10th.
