In 2016, he was 1-5 with a 4.54 ERA for them. He was 2-2 but with a 7.98 ERA and 2.11 WHIP in 2017. That winter, he was 1-0 with a 1.86 ERA in 12 games for the Tomateros de Culiacán. In 2018, the Mexican League went to a two-season format. He was 1-0 with a 4.28 ERA in the spring season and had a 3.31 ERA in the fall for Tabasco, then moved to the Leones del Yucatan but struggled (1-0, 10 H, 7 R in 4 IP). In winter ball, he was sharp for the Tomateros (0-1, 1.99 ERA, .71 WHIP in 17 G).

The right-hander only pitched seven games for Yucatan in 2019 (7.11 ERA) and allowed two runs (one earned) while retiring no one in winter ball. After the 2020 Mexican League was canceled due to COVID-19, he rebounded in the winter to go 2-0 with a 3.94 ERA. He was 6-1 with a save and a 1.07 ERA and .77 WHIP in 34 games for the 2021 Leones. In the winter, he was 1-0 with a save and a 2.28 ERA in 25 games. Reinforcing the Charros de Jalisco for the 2022 Caribbean Series, he had a 3.38 ERA in three games. In the summer of 2022, he was 3-4 with a save and a 3.92 ERA. He followed with another fine winter (0-2, Sv, 1.96 in 24 G; 4 BB in 23 IP).

Returning to Tabasco in 2023, he took a break to pitch for Mexico in the 2023 Central American and Caribbean Games. He made one appearance for his country, which won Gold for the first time in an international baseball tournament. He closed out Faustino Carrera's 4-0 win over El Salvador. He allowed singles to Carlos De Leon and José Medina, whiffed Charles Monterrosa and walked Anselmo Joya. Having dug a hole, he got himself out when he struck out José Guevara and Cesar Ciron. [2]
