Dan Stoligrosz helped USC win the 1970 College World Series, being named the All-Tournament third baseman. He was taken by the Cleveland Indians in the 14th round of the 1970 amateur draft. Making his pro debut with the Reno Silver Sox, he hit .225/.404/.374 with 55 walks in 63 games but 59 strikeouts in 187 AB. He batted .223/.369/.402 with Reno in 1971. He finished his career with the 1972 Veracruz Eagle, going 2 for 20 with a double, triple and five walks while fanning eight times. He later went into the loan business.
