Biographical Information[edit]

Outfielder Dan Arendas played in the New York Yankees system from 1986 to 1989. He was taken by the club in the 17th round of the 1986 amateur draft, one pick after pitcher Dennis Moeller. He began his professional career with a .313/.409/.369 slash line and finished it with a .303/.392/.394 mark, but had totals of .285/.357/.362 for his career due to two middling seasons in-between. He made the Gulf Coast League All-Star team as an outfielder in 1986, alongside Sean Ross and Kevin Dean.
