DSL Expos

From BR Bullpen

The DSL Expos existed from 1989-2004 (except 2003), when they were replaced by the DSL Nationals. They represented the Montreal Expos in the Dominican Summer League. In 2003, the Expos were part of a co-op, the DSL Diamondbacks/Expos.

Vladimir Guerrero, Orlando Cabrera, Jose Fernandez, Jolbert Cabrera, Nelson Cruz, Izzy Alcantara and Jose Paniagua all played for the club on their way to the majors.

Salomon Torres coached for the team in 1999-2000, in between his two runs in the major leagues.
