Biographical Information[edit]
Connor Dawson went into coaching after playing baseball briefly in junior college. He was a high school coach and a private hitting coach in Kansas and then worked at Marshalltown Community College in 2018-2019. During this time, he also completed a degree in kinesiology and exercise science from Benedictine College.
In 2020, he joined the Seattle Mariners organization as a minor league hitting coach. In 2022, he moved to the Milwaukee Brewers as their major league hitting coach, sharing duties with former major league player Ozzie Timmons. In 2025, he retained the title of hitting coach, but Al LeBoeuf was the "lead hitting coach", so he was in fact an assistant hitting coach alongside Eric Theisen.
