Biographical Information[edit]

Relief pitcher Collin Cargill played in the Florida/Miami Marlins minor league system from 2011 to 2014. He was taken by the club in the 22nd round of that year's draft.

With the GCL Marlins, Jamestown Jammers and Jupiter Hammerheads in 2011, he went 2-1 with 2 saves and a 4.03 ERA in 19 relief appearances. In 2012, he was 2-1 with 3 saves a 1.88 ERA in 38 games for the Jammers, Hammerheads and Greensboro Grasshoppers and in 2013, he was 4-1 with a 1.42 ERA in 43 games between Jupiter and the Jacksonville Suns. He began 2014 with Jacksonville, but also spent time with the Triple A New Orleans Zephyrs, going 5-2 with a 4.20 ERA in 43 relief appearances to wrap up his career.

Cargill became an assistant coach at Mississippi College in 2022.
