Biographical Information

Chun-Wen Chiu played in the CPBL for 3 years.

Chiu represented Taiwan in the 1995 World Youth Championship. The Chinatrust Whales drafted him in the second round of the 2005 CPBL Draft, and he hit .243/.308/.299 in his rookie year. However, Chiu slumped to .156/.182/.188 in 2007, and he was 1-for-14 in 2008. The Whales expelled after the 2008 season, and his professional career ended. He then coached Nanhua University from 2016 to 2019, and he became an assistant coach for the National Taiwan Sport University from 2019 to 2023.

Overall, Chiu had hit .209/.262/.255 with 31 hits in 3 seasons in the CPBL.
