Biographical Information[edit]
Christian Reyes has played and coached in the minors.
Reyes debuted with the 1995 DSL Athletics, hitting .045. In '96, he batted .191 for the same club. The next year, he hit .302 with 8 homers for the DSL Athletics West. He repeated at .302 with the 1998 DSL Athletics West. He came stateside in 1999 with the AZL Athletics, batting .283/.372/.444 with 39 runs and 39 RBI in 49 games. He hit 8 triples to lead the Arizona League.
In 2000, Reyes played for the Vancouver Canadians (.322/.410/.460 in 25 G) and Modesto A's (.222/.307/.280 in 68 G). The third baseman ended his playing career in 2001 with Vancouver (.221/.309/.292 in 59 G) and Modesto (.198/.318/.275 in 31 G). In 2007, he began coaching in the San Diego Padres chain.
