Biographical Information[edit]
Ching-Te Yeh was an early Taiwanese baseball star, noted for his contact skill. He played for the Taiwanese national team in the 1954 Asian Championship and 1955 Asian Championship when Taiwan took Silver. He remained with them for the 1959 Asian Championship then retired. Yeh was famous for his batting skill, he led the Taiwan amateur baseball cup in batting average for many years, and hit .375 in the 1955 Asian Championship (4th in the event).
