Biographical Information[edit]

Chien-Hsun Wang pitched for the Taiwanese national team, and in the CPBL.

Wang represented Taiwan in the 2001 World Youth Championship and 2005 Baseball World Cup; he did not get into a game in the World Cup. The Sinon Bulls drafted Wang in the sixth round of 2008 CPBL Draft. After spending a year in the minors, Wang recorded a 2.61 ERA in 10 games. The Bulls traded Wang and Chien-Yu Kuo to the Brother Elephants for Ke-Wei Fang. The Taipei native didn't pitched well with the new team. His ERA was never lower than 5 in his next three years in the CPBL, and he only played 23 major games among six years with the Brothers. The Brothers released Wang after he allowed 10 runs in 8 1/3 innings in the minors in the 2016 season.
