Biographical Information[edit]

Chien-Chiang Wang played in the CPBL and TML for 4 years.

Wang represented Taiwan in the 1995 World Youth Championship. The Wei Chuan Dragons signed him in 1999, and he was brought into the 1999 Taiwan Series despite staying in the minors in his rookie year. He was 0-for-1 in the series, and he won his first title as the Dragons beat the Chinatrust Whales in 5 games. After the Dragons dissolved after the 1999 season, Wang went to the Taichung Agan in 2000. He hit .228/.262/.386 in 2000, then he crushed 4 homers with a .255/.316/.406 batting line in 2001. The Agan released him after the 2001 season, and he played with amateur teams for three seasons. Wang returned to the league in 2005, and he signed with the La New Bears. His batting line was .290/.323/.405 in 2550, but he slumped to .135/.256/.324 in 2006. The Bears released him after the 2006 season, and his professional career ended.

Overall, Wang had hit .255/.301/.394 with 119 hits and 11 homers in 4 seasons in the CPBL and TML.
