Biographical Information

Chi-Hsin Yang played in the CPBL for 2 years.

Yang was signed by the Chinatrust Whales in 1999, and he had a .138/.219/.138 in 29 at-bats in his rookie year. Due to his weak batting, the Whales mainly used him as pinch-runner. Thus, he played 50 games with 13 steals in that season. He still struggled at the plate as he was 1-for-13 in 2000, and the Whales released him.

Overall, Yang had hit .119/.196/.143 with 5 hits and 16 steals in 2 seasons in the CPBL.
