Biographical Information[edit]
Chen-Hsun Lee pitched in the minor leagues. His uncle Chih-Chiang Chang is a former CPBL All-Star pitcher, and his cousins Wen-Hua Sung and Po-Chieh Fan pitched in the CPBL.[1]
Lee represented Taiwan in the 2013 Little League World Series and 2019 U-18 Baseball World Cup (going 1 for 1) [2], but he underwent Tommy John surgery and missed the 2020 season. He then represented Taiwan in the 2022 U-23 Baseball World Cup (going 1-0 with a 2.00 ERA and beating Mexico) [3], and the San Francisco Giants signed him with a $650,000 signing bonus; the scout was Yi-Huang Hsueh. Lee debuted with the ACL Giants Orange, but he had a 15.19 ERA in 4 starts.
